Visual Perception Enabled Industry Intelligence: State of the Art, Challenges and Prospects

Visual perception refers to the process of organizing, identifying, and interpreting visual information in environmental awareness understanding. With rapid progress multimedia acquisition technology, research on has been a hot topic academical field industrial applications. Especially after introduction artificial intelligence theory, intelligent widely used promote development production towards intelligence. In this article, we review previous application different fields such as product surface defect detection, agricultural production, driving, image synthesis, event reconstruction. The applications basically cover most processing technologies. Through survey, it will provide comprehensive reference for direction. Finally, article also summarizes current challenges predicts its future trends.
